ABOUT US...
When you walk into a La Jolla Torreys Volleyball practice or competition you will see players and coaches who LOVE VOLLEYBALL. We focus on ages 14 & below because we feel this is a VERY important time to learn teamwork, body awareness, fundamentals, coachability and of course confidence! Therefore we have a staff with the same midset who fit perfectly with each age. We stive to Ignite, Inspire & Teach!
SEASON
After tryouts and teams are selected, our practices start early November and go all the way to the end of May/early June.
Tournaments start in January.
TRAVEL:
1-2 tournaments/month (locations LA/OC/N.SD)
LOCALS:
1 tournament month in Poway.
*Tournaments usually take average 6 hours and start in January
PRACTICE
Our teams practice at:
La Jolla Country Day
The JCC
La Jolla Shores Beach Court
TRAVEL:
2-3 times a week. Usually 1-2 during week and one on Sunday
LOCAL:
Once a week. Ususally on Sunday afternoon
